Maxine Performance Stretch Fabric


The Maxine Performance Stretch Fabric is our NEW wickable and anti-microbial fabric. Use Maxine to make leggings, leg warmers, underwear for women or men, or sport bras. Stay dry and odour-free! Made from 88% Polyester and 12% Spandex.

Maxine features the comfort of cotton, paired with the performance of a synthetic fibre. This is not the typical solid colour performance fabric! This fabric is instead, available in 5 great heather colours.

In clothing, the term “heather” refers to interwoven yarns of mixed colours producing flecks of an alternate colour. It is typically used to mix multiple shades of gray or gray with another colour to produce a muted shade (e.g., heather green). However, any two colours can be mixed, including bright colours. That describes exactly what this fabric looks like. You will notice that each colour has two shades or tones of colour, which creates a very pleasing affect.

Although this is a very new fabric for us, our customers tell us it is extremely comfortable to wear. Customers have used it to make boy shorts and leggings for these cooler months. This fabric will make some very comfortable men’s underwear, too!

The fabric is wickable and moves moisture away from the body. The Maxine Performance Stretch fabric is also anti-microbial and resists odor absorption.
